refinished c. 1920's vintage american industrial freestanding heavy gauge cold-rolled furniture sheet steel compartmentalized "addressograph" cabinet fabricated by the addressograph company, chicago, il. the upright cabinet contains a detachable angled steel base, comprised of four slightly tapered legs with flat feet turned inward. the cabinet door contains two fully functional barrel hinges and a yellow brass cylindrical lock. the cabinet interior contains a multitude of identical black enameled pull-out drawers originally used for storing rubber stamps. the shallow drawers are comprised entirely of pressed and formed steel with label slots and handles. the top consists of green leatherette. the exterior cabinet and detachable four-legged base have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 23 x 17 x 41 1/2 inches.
