american art deco machine age interior theater lobby three-light slip shade ceiling fixture with original chain and canopy. the c. 1930's vintage streamlined style fixture was likely fabricated by the markel electric products co., buffalo, ny. contains three fluted and flared custard glass slip or "slipper" shades. the original leviton sockets and rayon cloth cord wiring remains intact. the metallic gold and silver enameled finish is original to the fixture. salvaged from a south side chicago theater building. measures 13 x 24 inches.
