very unique repurposed american industrial c. 1930's storefront sidewalk signicade bookshelf with a uniform brushed metal finish. the angled front all-welded joint lightweight steel frame originally contained a signboard providing prices, specials, etc. the angled steel frame has been treated with a clear coat lacquer. the new added stained oak wood shelves are fastened tightly in place. the freestanding angled sign holder was slightly raised with the use of an oak wood base containing four slid pine wood posts. the old curbside sign was salvaged from an old downtown chicago restaurant. great for displaying books, electrical devices, and other objects. measures approximately 23 3/4 x 17 x 37 inches.
