original american depression era industrial blue and white enameled lithographed tin automobile lamp advertising sign panel fabricated by or for the national lamp works of general electric, schenectady, ny. the single-sided side sign was salvaged from a badly damaged hardware store countertop automotive light bulb storage cabinet. the square-shaped tin metal sign features a centrally located graphic, depicting an incandescent light bulb with automobile prominently displayed within an outlined box containing the circular logos of mazda and general electric. surface wear and discoloration consistent with age. measures 10 x 12 inches.
