structurally sound and incredibly robust weighted cast iron vintage medical optician's examination room stool with a refinished round maple wood stationary seat. the mobile stool glides with ease on four hardened black rubber swivel casters. the four-legged cast iron base with outswept feet has been refinished. the hydraulic locking mechanism remains in excellent working condition. fabricated by the bausch & lomb optical co., rochester, ny. when fully extended, the stool measures 25 inches in height.
