original late 1940's vintage medical freestanding heavy gauge steel hospital examination room supply cabinet manufactured by the american metal furniture inc., indianapolis, ind. the original green enameled powder coat finish remains largely intact. contains a unique configuration of cabinet drawers and doors with original spun aluminum handles or pulls with sunken center. the heavily reinforced tapered and turned legs are structurally sound and secure. contains a three-sided steel guard rail, along with a towel rack or bar affixed to the right side of the cabinet. salvaged from the old cook county hospital located in chicago, il. measures 29 x 33 x 18 inches.
