original and largely intact american vintage c. 1950's illuminated main street exterior storefront hanging "medical" clinic sign designed and fabricated by the lackner sign company, cincinnati, oh. the sign was salvaged from a small clinic in louisville, ky. the double-sided sign features two matching white plastic panels with black lettering and oversized directional arrow. the "can" or frame is comprised of aluminum and steel. the socket housing remains largely intact. surface wear and minor repairs made throughout the years. the sign retains the original eye hooks for suspending above the storefront. measures 26 x 6 x 13.5 inches.
