oversized early 1930's american antique industrial freight elevator push button control panel likely fabricated by or for the otis elevator co., new york city, ny. the flush mount elevator cab or car panel is comprised of cast bronze with a nicely aged surface patina. the push button and toggle switches are all original and intact. the baked black enameled cast iron housing conceals the wiring and electrical components used to relay the signals to the motor room above. the fully enclosed elevator panel was salvaged from a chicago garment factory constructed around 1937. measures approximately 4 x 3 x 15 1/2 inches.
