very unusual late 19th or early 20th century antique american made art nouveau style patinated cast iron card tray featuring a full-figured nude woman surrounded by copious amounts of her curvaceous hair used as a net for capturing fish. the elegantly designed nautical-themed paperweight or card try is fabricated of cast iron with a nicely aged patinated (i.e., oxidized copper) finish. the exact fabricator is not known. measures 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches
