1920's original chicago prairie school style leaded art glass double hung sash window attributed to h. eberhardt & co., chicago, il. the skillfully crafted interior residential window is strongly geometric in design, with two centrally located abstract floral motifs consisting of variegated slag glass diamonds, squares and rectangles. the elegant border contains robin's egg blue hammered or cathedral amber and white opalescent glass rectangles accentuated in each of the corners with highly desirable and brilliantly colored gold leaf sandwich glass squares. the larger panels surrounding the floral motifs are clear "wavy" glass. the chicago bungalow window is free from cracks or breaks. the zinc leading is structurally sound and stable. the original wood sash frames with a stained finish are in good condition, considering age. a total of four matching windows were salvaged from a chicago bungalow constructed around 1920-23. priced individually. measures 26 inches x 1 1/4 inches x 34 inches.
