very unique and finely crafted all original late 1920's antique american craftsman style exterior porch bracketed wall sconce salvaged from a chicago tudor revival residence constructed around 1929. the remarkable single electric light wall sconce contains a pyramidal-shaped top with faux yellow brass rivets. the lantern retains the original white translucent "crackled" glass, set within the frame with cross-bracing. the impressive flush mount tubular yellow brass supporting bracket features elegant scrollwork. the exterior wall sconce is attributed to the j. c. virden company, cleveland, oh. the sconce has been completely refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. sconce measures 7 x 7 x 13 inches, bracket measures 8 x 14 inches
