original early 20th century ornamental wrought brass metal "eulalia" pattern interior residential pocket door escutcheon with original bronze "wash" largely intact. the art nouveau style backplate was manufactured by the reading hardware company, reading, pa. the backplate contains a recessed "cup" handle with centrally located skeleton keyhole. measure approximately 8 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches.
