remarkable early 20th century antique american interior residential ceiling light parlor fixture fabricated and assembled by r. williamson & co., chicago, il. the three-light ceiling fixture retains the original highly desirable oxidized or japanned copper stripe finish. the early electric perkins incandescent key sockets are in excellent condition. the opposed bent tubular arms are accentuated with foliated scrolls. the fluted ceiling canopy is original and intact. the ceiling fixture contains three uranium or "vaseline" glass shades (a single ball globe and two matching bullet swirl glass shades) fabricated by the phoenix glass company. measures 20 x 36 inches. the c. 1900-10 light fixtures was discovered in the attic of a residence, where it was stored for over 60 years.
