original early 20th century antique american oak wood mobile baker's rack built specifically for the national bread company bakery located in chicago. the evenly-spaced shelf rack unit contains four solid wood corner posts reinforced with turned dowels. the slim bakery rack glides with ease using unusual disc-shaped solid steel swivel wheels often found on a car mechanic's creeper. the posts and stretchers are reinforced with angled steel brackets for added stability. each tier contains a black enameled stenciled number. a total of three racks are available. measures 43 x 13 x 62 inches.
