c. 1910 original and nicely worn and weathered formed and pressed painted tin metal exterior roofline ornament likely designed and fabricated by the friedley-voshardt company, chicago, il. the single-sided building facade ornament features a centrally located palmette flanked by elegantly designed foliated scrollwork. the heavily crazed and chipped white paint, coupled with surface make for a nicely aged patina. the interior is largely empty, with the exception of the wood framing used to uphold its form and/or structural integrity. the building has since been demolished. both interior and exterior architectural artifacts were removed by urban remains in march of 2015. measures 56 x 20 x 19 inches.
