two of two visually distinctive and fully functional american industrial "swing-way" patented stationary stool designed specifically for boat captains, locomotive engineers and other operations requiring confined spaces. the stool contains an expansive base comprised of cast aluminum. the 4 large pre-drilled holes are four anchoring the stool into the floor. the cast iron swing-out bracket supported a single solid steel threaded rod that lifts the seat up or down by manually rotating left or right. an l-shaped bracket prevents the seat from shifting, once a desired height is reached. the oversized solid maple wood stool seat has been stained and sealed. . the cast aluminum, steel and iron components have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. two matching stool available. exact fabricator unknown. 14 x 30"
