completely intact and functional hard to find vintage industrial adjustable crank die cart, manufactured by hamilton tool co., hamilton, oh. the portable elevating table or "portelvator" was designed by oscar schilchter with a patent awarded in 1933. the 2500 pound capacity cart retains the original, fully functional spoked cast iron caster wheels. the crank handle is original to the table. the gear box, gears and tenoned screws are in great working condition. salvaged from a northwestern steel mill. nicely distressed blue enameled finish. the thoroughly cleaned top deck remains structurally sound and stable. very desirable size. measures 30 x 23 inches with the top tier height adjustable from 26 to 40 inches.
