highly ornate early 20th century heavy cast bronze monogrammed hotel guestroom door "unit lock set" - p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct.

Description

original c. 1900's antique american ornamental cast brass monogrammed unit lock set salvaged from a hotel located in or around detroit. the lock unit is positioned between the two flanking backplates. the letter "s" is found in the form of a ornamented medallion positioned at the top of each backplate. the doorknobs are largely unadorned, with a series of graduating circles surrounding the centrally located keyhole. original working key left intact. fabricated by the p. & f. corbin hardware co., new britian, ct. nicely aged surface patina. backplates measure approximately 11 x 4 1/2 inches. three matching sets available.
