all original early 20th century antique american factory office bookkeeper backless swivel stool with four slightly tapered turned oak legs. the stool retains the original solid maple wood seat with rounded edges contains a slightly sunken center. the stationary frame is comprised of cast iron with a fully functional centrally located solid steel threaded spindle attached firmly to the underside of the seat. finely turned and tapered dowels provide added support and stability. the "otsteel" brand stool was fabricated by the angle steel stool company, otsego, mi. completely refinished. maximum height 34 inches.
