impressive c. 1880's original and largely intact antique american victorian era residential stained glass transom window likely designed and fabricated by the mcculey & miles co., chicago, il. the vibrantly colored leaded glass window was salvaged from a chicago gold coast residence undergoing interior renovation. the window features a centrally located cleat beveled edge palmette surrounded by floriated scrollwork. the multiple and distinct jewels and oversized rondels provide added visual character. the arch top window retains the original wood sash frame with old paint finish. 24" x 40 3/4".
