original (possibly new old stock) american vintage industrial richly colored cobalt blue dome-shaped airport runway stake light fresnel lens or globe designed and fabricated by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the reinforced ground glass lens is divided into a series of closely spaced concentric annular sections with a smooth dome top and protruding flange at the base. the glass globe was likely fabricated for use with a mansfield aircraftsman company stake light. limited quantity available. the dome contains manufacturer markings in the form of lightly embossed lettering. measures 4 1/4 x 5 inches.
