the "university of chicago" salvage - decorative limestone and millwork rescued...

near the university of chicago (hence the title) a number of 3 story limestone flats, along w/ a mansion and an apartment complex were demolished. nearly all of these buildings were built around the 1890's. a large array of decorative limestone, oak millwork (e.g., newels, headers, base board, etc.) was rescued.
