early 1930's matching pair of antique beardslee slip shade interior wall sconces. the fixtures have a cast aluminum fitter, retaining original polychrome enameled finish. the grooved or fluted two tone slip shades contain feature an open back with wedge-shaped lugs for hanging and locking the shades in the supports. the fixtures are in near mint condition. manufactured by the beardslee chandelier manufacturing co., chicago, il. the mounting apparatus for securing the shade was patented albert j. d. ohm, of oak park, il., on sept. 7, 1928. each fixture measures 12 x 7 x 6 inches.
