unique c. 1930's art deco style machine age five light custard shade fixture - lightolier co.

art deco style machine age vintage american five light electric light ceiling fixture with original "beehive" custard bowl shades. the chrome plated fixture has a unique spitzer bullet profile at the bottom with bakelite finial or cap, that is both a decorative element and on/off switch. the upper portion of the fixture features a flared and/or open-ended top with original burgundy finish chain ring with inner ball. the matching canopy is original to the fixture. the rayon cloth cord is completely intact. the five custard bowl shades are flawless. very modern looking fixture with minimal ornament and clean lines. dates to the late 1920's manufactured by lightolier. 24 x 19 inches.
