modest victorian brick dwelling - fanciful newels and entrance rescued...
this little victorian home had only a few original features intact. most impressive of course, was the deep recessed arch top panel doors and jamb (made of virgin pine from the wisconsin forests). the outer perimeter contains the classic "chicago style" cast iron newel posts w/ plain hand rail. the house was thought to have been built in the early 1880's. demolished in 2006.
