original late 1940's american industrial oversized mobile two-door metal cabinet or console possibly fabricated by the general fireproofing co., youngstown, oh. the multi-purpose utilitarian cabinet is comprised of heavy gauge cold-rolled pressed and folded steel with all-welded joints. the front of the console features two equally-sized hinged doors concealing a spacious compartment divided by a single interior shelf. the ball casters are original and intact. the storage cabinet has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. salvaged from an old automotive repair shop. measures 44 1/2 x 21 1/2 x 29 1/2 inches.
