original late 1960's vintage american chicago city park spring-loaded chicken "saddle mate" complete with cylindrical handle bars and stationary tubular steel footrest. the figural playground apparatus is comprised largely of reinforced cast aluminum with original polychrome enameled finish largely intact. likely designed by robert s. wormser for game-time inc., litchfield, mi. exhibits an allover weathered and worn surface finish consistent with age. the freestanding playground device was salvaged from a chicago park long ago. a total of three distinct creatures available. priced individually.
