Description

original c. 1880's antique american victorian era ornamental cast bronze single pocket door handle or escutcheon with original baked black enameled inlay large intact. the recessed "cup" handle was manufactured by the chicago hardware company, chicago, il. the recessed region contains a large skeleton keyhole opening for use with a mortise lock, key and catch. nicely aged and mostly uniform surface patina. measures approximately 6 x 2 3/8 inches.
