one of three matching all original and intact american ornamental cast iron interior residential pocket door backplates or escutcheons. the brass-plated antique victorian era backplate was likely fabricated by p. & f. corbin or the branford lock works. the pocket door escutcheon contains a deeply recessed handle designed to pull the doors back into their respective pockets. the original brass-plated finish over cast iron is in good condition, considering age. the backplate features a perforated keyhole opening within the recessed region. a total of three are available. priced individually.
