late 19th century ornamental cast brass interior residential double pocket door escutcheons with matching mortise locks

all original and completely intact c. 1880's antique american ornamental cast brass interior residential pocket door hardware, consisting of four matching escutcheons plates, two mortise locks with internal slide pulls and an extra strike plate originally used with a single pocket door configuration. recently salvaged from a chicago graystone residence built around 1885. the hardware set was fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. nicely aged surface patina. baked black enameled inlay accentuates the detail. mortise locks measure approximately 7 1/2 x 1 x 3 1/2 inches. priced for the lot.
