original and fully functional late 19th century antique american interior residential pocket door mortise locks manufactured by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the two mortise locks contain unadorned brass faceplates with original oxidized copper-plated finish. the original, hard to find cast brass key is original and intact. the "finger" lock moves with ease (when actuated by rotating the key). the sliding brass pulls used to pull the doors from their respective "pockets" are original and intact. the cast iron lock boxes retain the original baked black enameled finish. the mortise locks are designed for a double pocket door configuration. priced for the set. each one measures approximately 1 x 3 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches.
