pair of original c. 1880's antique american interior residential ornamental cast bronze doorknob rosettes. the uniquely designed doorknob rosettes were likely fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. each rosette contains strongly geometric design motifs, in the form of zigzags running in different directions. the outer perimeter contains three pre-drilled screw holes for mounting flush against the passage door. black enameled inlay highlights the lightly incised pattern. measure approximately 2 1/8 inches in diameter. priced for the pair.
