intact and fully functional american made freestanding three-tier book shelf unit salvaged from an old chicago public library. the all-metal furniture piece was designed and fabricated by the gaylord brothers co., syracuse, ny. the three open-ended and angled tiers are tightly affixed to the bent tubular steel uprights. original baked green enameled finish largely intact. measures 28 x 14 x 36 inches.
