refinished vintage american industrial age oversized cast iron spoked pulley likely fabricated by the american pulley co., philadelphia, pa. the slender iron wheel is supported on a freestanding custom-built block or base comprised of maple wood. the pulley wheel was likely used with an industrial lathe turned with flat drive leather belts. the radial spokes are original and intact. salvaged from an old chicago gear and sprocket factory. measures 20 1/2 inches in height.
