vintage research laboratory glassware finds new home at urban remains

first we solidified a deal involving the recent acquisition of a vast array and sizable quantity of industrial stools in both angled and tubular steel form with maple wood and metal seats. a few days later we came across an impressive assortment of old university of chicago research laboratory glassware, mainly in the form of embossed reagent bottles with ground glass stoppers.
the reagent bottles - all outfitted with stoppers - were all manufactured by the whitall tatum company, with their original glassworks located in millville, new jersey. the clear and amber-colored glass bottles vary considerably in size and shape.
the majority of the bottles are unadorned, but at the very least, retain their original stoppers. the other bottles salvaged from the laboratory include the highly desirable reagent bottles with embossed lettering. others feature the same type of information (i.e., chemical systemic name and formula) fashioned with baked-on enamel on glass.
the vintage laboratory glassware will be listed in the coming weeks on the urban remains's website. the listings containing lots or multiple bottles will be offered in various quantities versus sold individually.
