all original c. 1930's vintage american freestanding pressed and folded cold-rolled steel multi-drawer filing cabinet originally used for storing factory machine manuals and parts catalogs. the unique weathered and worn lime green paint finish was left untouched, as it lends or contributes a highly unique and visually appealing character and age to the cabinet. the tall and narrow cabinet contains five matching long pull-out drawers with pressed steel handles and label holders. the four-legged angled steel base remains structurally sound and stable. likely fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. salvaged from a chicago machine shop. measures 11 x 20 x 40 1/2 inches.
