very clean and well-maintained early 20th century antique american solidly-constructed birch wood multi-pane vestibule door likely fabricated by the foster & munger company, chicago, ills. the "stock" door retains the original clear glass panes secured tightly by wood muntins. the original stained finish is uniform and intact. the door contains a stamped steel lockset with a nicely aged patina. the loose pin ball finial door hinges (fabricated by stanley hardware) are fully functional with pin and leaves intact. the interior salvaged chicago french door was removed from a chicago apartment complex located near wrigley field. several birch doors in multiple configurations were salvaged from the apartment building shortly before demolition. measures 38 x 2 x 83 1/4 inches.
