early 20th century antique american "pine cone" pattern green slag art glass table lamp designed and fabricated by apollo studios, new york city, ny. aollo studios of new york was a division of bernard rice & sons, and was in existence between 1909 and 1922. apollo was a contemporary of tiffany studios. the double "cluster" pull-chain socket lamp contains a detachable pyramidal-shaped shade with original square-shaped finial intact. the tapered pedestal lamp base is supported by four finely detailed cast brass diminutive paw feet. the base of the lamp contains a single keyless socket for additional light. the original green "slag" art glass panels are intact and free from breaks or cracks. the intricately deigned yellow brass filigree has developed a nicely age surface patina, left untouched. the lamp has been rewired with period appropriate cloth cord.
