c. 1940-50 american vintage industrial dazor factory office floor lamp with the patented "floating arm" intact and operable. completely refinishd and treated with a clear coat lacquer. the rounded edge weighted cast iron base is tightly affixed to the vertical or upright pole supporting the floating arm. the socket housing features multiple deeply embossed "speed" rings in addition to perforated holes for ventilation and finger twist on/off switch. the shallow bowl reflector remains in great condition. the original standard screw base socket used regular incandescent light bulbs. fabricated by the dazor mfg. co., st. louis, mo.
