hard to find all original mid-nineteenth century (c. 1850's) light emerald green glass soda bottle manufactured for baldwin tuthill & co., in new york. the squat body tapers into a short neck and an intact applied rounded tapered collar or blobtop. the body exhibits a number of bubbles, including a large vertical bubble stretched through the neck. a clean strike on the front body in the form of multiple lines of embossed lettering reads "baldwin / tuthill & co / 12 warren / n.y." with slight casewear near the heel. a kickup at the base retains some residue from manufacture with iron pontil. measures 7 inches in height.
