hard to find oversized antique american single red slip terra cotta decorative block or panel removed from the exterior brick facade of an old german meeting hall built in 1885. the remarkable early terra cotta panel features a centrally located floral rosette surrounded by leafage. the large block was designed and fabricated by the northwestern terra cotta works or company, chicago, ills. only one panel in this design configuration was used in the building's construction.
