matching set of original late 19th century c. 1880's antique american eastlake style "broken leaf" pattern doorknob backplates designed and manufactured by the lockwood manufacturing co., south norwalk, conn. the residential passage door backplates feature a nicely aged surface patina. the backplates contain a single keyhole opening and two screw holes for mounting purposes. the wrought brass collars or thimbles remain intact. very popular pattern. priced for the pair. measure 5 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.
