exceptional c. 1930's american art deco style machine age medical rolling examination stool salvaged from st. luke's hospital, chicago, il. the "helene curtis" doctor's office exam stool features a four-legged chrome plated bent tubular steel base with a single welded joint supportive "speed ring." the threaded steel rod allows the swivel stool to be raised or lowered to achieve desired height. the original bassick swivel casters are completely intact and in great working condition. seat width 14", height adjustable 19" to 26".
