original and completely intact c. 1930's american machine age art deco style faries table or desk lamp. the incandescent lamp retains the original patinated yellow brass with polished chrome plated finish. the rolled rim spun yellow brass deep bowl reflector or shade features three incised "speed rings." the shade is suspended by a bent tubular chrome plated brass arm affixed tightly to the weighted base, accentuated with stacked discs. the ball joint socket with dial switch is original and in great working condition. manufactured by the faries mfg. co., decatur, il. measures 15 x 12 inches.
