c. 1930's original and intact curved cold-rolled steel polychromatic vitreous or porcelain enameled exterior barbershop trade sign designed and fabricated by the bob white sign company, milwaukee, wisc. the flush mount barber pole sign contains the words "modern service" under the ball finial with stars. the red, white and blue color scheme is slightly faded from prolonged exposure to the elements. the heavy gauge steel barbershop sign was salvaged from a building on the far south side of chicago.
