very unique and hard to find c. 1930's vintage industrial freestanding coat rack with combination umbrella stand. typically found in the barbershop or physician's office. the base is comprised of heavy gauge bent tubular steel legs with a riveted joint ring and concealed dish for umbrella storage. the large pinched steel double hooks are affixed to a rotating band of wrought steel mounted on a central pole. manufactured by barber supply company emil j. paidar of chicago, il. features a nicely distressed red enameled finish. measures 70 x 20 inches.
