completely intact c. 1930's american vintage medical freestanding hospital examination and/or operating room supply cabinet salvaged from a south side chicago hospital building (now defunct). the art deco streamlined style cabinet is comprised of folded and pressed heavy gauge "furniture" steel with original baked enameled "whitekraft" finish largely intact. the cabinet contains a spacious interior with four original adjustable plate glass shelves. the concealed hinge cabinet door with centrally located plate glass retains the original barrel lock and black bakelite handle. the lower portion features two identical pull-out drawers with original black bakelite handles. four-legged base and top are finished in baked black enamel. measures 20 x 15 1/4 x 58 inches. fabricated by the clark & roberts mfg. co., indianapolis, ind.
