late 1940's vintage american industrial freestanding heavy gauge steel mult-drawer index card filing cabinet salvaged from a tool machine factory located north of chicago. the cold-rolled steel upright cabinet contains ten equally-sized pull-out drawers with spacious interiors. original wrought brass handles flanked by diminutive label slots. tracks and rollers intact and in fine working condition. fabricated by the library bureau sole makers, boston, ma. measures 26 x 14 x 51 inches.
