c. 1950's vintage american medical petite-sized articulated human skeleton anatomical teaching aid model designed and fabricated by or for the science teaching aids, pell lake, wisc. the diminutive hanging skeleton is comprised of durable molded plastic parts held together with steel springs and screws. the springs allow for realistic movement of the joints. the three-dimensional lightweight model was used in the chicago public system based on labels found on the storage box. several other models, posters, and fossils were acquired along with the skeleton. measures approximately 18 x 6 x 4 inches.
