original diminutive worn and weathered olive green painted wood hinged "marking outfit" stamping die kit for use with the 74th infantry regiment, united states army. the largely intact stamping metal kit contains several solid steel dies and custom templates designed for use with stamping dog tags, utensils and so on. the interior retains the original paper label identifying the exact infantry regiment and the name, william feversham, 1st sargent. the hardwood box retains the original dark olive green enameled exterior with black stenciled lettering. the brass hinges and eye hooks are original and intact. measures 8 x 4 x 3 1/4 inches.
